How it all began

I’ve always been drawn to the ocean. Perhaps it’s because I grew up spending a week at the beach with my family every summer for as long as I can remember. Memories of long days in the sun and sand with my sister and parents have a special place in my heart.

When my husband and I started our own family in 2007, we wanted to provide a similar experience for our son. When he was just 2, we bought our first property near the beach. We then spent some time getting to know various areas of the NC coast. We fell in love with Oak Island, and were lucky enough to find a lovely place for our family to continue our summer tradition.

The next step was to explore how we could offer this same experience and tradition to other families.

A little fun along the way

You may notice that we have incorporated our love of the TV show The Office into the names of our homes. We hope this brings joy to anyone considering a vacation in one of our homes, and we look forward to all the memories that will be made by families that visit each year. May they continue to hold those memories close to their hearts for years to come.

Dream it.

It all began with an idea. My husband and I love to drive along the coast and look at houses and lots for sale. Then one day we decided to dive in and take the plunge - We bought an empty ocean front lot, hired a builder, designed a home, and I was hooked.

Build it.

With my love of design, project management skills, and attention to detail, I knew I would love the process of designing and building homes. Building relationships with key people in the process is also incredibly important to success in this business. With each new build, I gain valuable knowledge and experience that carries forward into each project.

Grow it.

As our first property was being built, I was always on the lookout for the next opportunity. I have had the pleasure of designing and building a number of new homes in Oak Island - both for our vacation rental portfolio, and homes to sell for others to build their memories here. I am thankful to live in a wonderful coastal community that is a destination for families to enjoy. I am continually working on new design projects, and I look forward to each new adventure.
